How do Pull Lists work?

If there’s a specific monthly title you like to read (or even if there’s 50), starting up a pull list in store is the best way to ensure you never miss an issue. Simply let one of our staff know you want to start a pull list, indicate which titles you want included in it, and we’ll put aside those titles each week. Check out this page for more info or contact us to start your pull list.

We’ll hold titles in your list for up to 3 weeks before we put them back on the shelf, so if you’re going to be away, make sure you tell us. Pull lists may be automatically cancelled due to prolonged inactivity.

What’s your returns policy?

We accept returns for items with production faults and will offer exchanges where possible. Otherwise, we will provide a full refund.

We do not accept returns for products with minor imperfections or if you change your mind.

Are the prices on SecretIDComics.com.au the same as they are in-store?

YES! Although, we often have special deals in store which makes it worth your while to come in and see us. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media for details about special promotions.

There's a note in my cart saying that an item has to be backordered. What does that mean?

It means that the item is out of stock and we'll need to reorder it from our distributor. Orders with items that need to backordered will not be dispatched until all items are available. If your order is urgent, we suggest placing separate orders for what is available and what isn't. (The only exception is if you're picking up the order in-store.)

If an item is unavailable from our distributor, we'll refund you and ship the rest of the order.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

We sure do! Check out this link or ask our staff in store to fix you up.

If I place an order to pick up in store, how long will it be before it's ready to be collected?

We try to process it as soon as possible, but please allow up to 24 hours for us to get your order ready. You will receive email confirmation when it can be picked up.

Can you order stuff in for me?

We will certainly try! Contact us with details of your requests and we'll check its availability with our distributors.

Can you reserve a copy of _____ for me, please?

Generally, we'd recommend starting a pull list for single issue comics. Otherwise, you can order online and pick up in-store later.

Do you buy/sell second hand comics or merchandise?

Nope soz.

I’m a local indie artist, can you please stock my title?

We’re always looking to spotlight local Aussie talent in our store. Contact us, provide us with samples, and give us some details about your comic (a blurb, retail and wholesale pricing etc.)

You have a hella nice space! ... Can I use it for a book launch/exhibition/etc?

We are more than happy to help out local talent, so if you have something in mind that isn't too crazy, we'd generally be happy to hire out our store for an evening (maybe even during the day if you ask really nicely). Click here and tell us what you have in mind.

Tell me more about these rewards points

At Secret Identity Comics, we appreciate you coming in to see us and to buy from us - that’s why we offer rewards points to use in store. For every dollar that you spend in store, you receive 20 reward points. Every 10,000 reward points is equivalent to $15.

Points can be earned both online and in-store. During checkout in the store, just mention that you have an account with us, and you'll be credited the reward points. Currently points can only be used online. They can be redeemed for gift cards, that can be used in store.
